  1. An eight-year-old girl presents with history of fever, joint pain, dyspnoea on exertion and skin rash. On examination, she had tachycardia, tachypnoea, tender joints and a characteristic rash. The rash had raised erythematous edges with clear centres and was painless and non-pruritic. It was evanescent and the first few lesions were noted on the back, which then disappeared the next day, and new lesions were noticed on the extensor surface of lower limbs.

  1. A six-year-old girl presents with fever, malaise, anorexia, and headache 24-48 hours before a rash appeared. The rash appeared first as erthematous papules on the chest and back and then face. By the next day some of the lesions became papulo-pustular and new lesions appeared and some on the arms. Soon they were formings vesicles and crusting and intensely pruritic.
